Ratings, sales quality and Super Seller on Allegro

Daniel Pawłowski · Amazonway · · 7 min read

Reputation on Allegro is not an average of stars, it is a point score. The “My sales quality” panel recalculates eight metrics daily, today up to a maximum of 500 points, and assigns the account to one of four levels: Super, Good, Neutral or Requires improvement. Buyer ratings are only one component of that score, and the Super Seller badge goes to a business account that has held the Super level on at least 14 of the last 30 days and completed at least 50 orders in that time. This chapter of the guide to selling on Allegro shows where the points come from, how to respond to a negative rating, and what changes with the panel rebuild scheduled for 26 August 2026.

As of 31 July 2026. The rules are described from Allegro’s Help for sellers, with the source given next to each claim. This chapter is written in the middle of a change: some numbers apply until 25 August 2026, and from 26 August a new scoring replaces them. We separate the two below rather than giving one averaged version.

Three things that are easy to confuse: ratings, reviews and points

Sellers say “I have good ratings” meaning three different mechanisms. They are worth separating, because only one of them decides access to Allegro’s programmes.

  • Seller ratings. The buyer chooses Recommend or Do not recommend and can add a comment, and a negative rating has to be justified. The recommendation percentage is calculated from unique ratings over the last 12 months (Help for sellers, in Polish).
  • Product reviews. Stars and reviews concern the product only, not you or how the transaction went. They are visible on every offer of the same product, including on foreign markets, and the buyer has 12 months from purchase to leave one. A seller does not reply to such a review, but can report a breach of the rules (Help for sellers).
  • Sales quality. The account’s point indicator, recalculated daily. It is what opens or closes access to the Top offer, Smart!, the Bargain Zone and foreign markets.

The practical consequence: an excellent recommendation percentage will not save an account whose dispatch times are slipping. And conversely, one bad product review does not lower your sales quality, because it concerns the goods, not the service.

The “My sales quality” panel: metrics and thresholds

Points are awarded across eight metrics and recalculated daily. Most are based on the last 30 days of data, and both dispatch metrics on the last 28 days (Help for sellers).

The level thresholds move together with the scale. Until 25 August the Super level starts at 300 points out of a maximum of 500, and from 26 August at 230 points out of a maximum of 400. The Good level is 101 to 299 points in the old model and 101 to 229 in the new one; Neutral is 0 to 100 in both cases, and a negative score means the Requires improvement level.

What changes on 26 August 2026 and why it is not cosmetic

The change has one guiding idea: after the rebuild, points are awarded and deducted solely for actions on the seller’s side. That is why metrics dependent on buyers’ decisions disappear, Buyer recommendations among them, and two new ones appear, based on case handling.

  • Complaint resolution time. Measures the average time to accept or reject a complaint. A maximum of 50 points for an average under 7 days, zero points at 14 days or more.
  • Unresolved customer cases. Compares the number of compensations paid out under Allegro Buyer Protection with the number of disputes and complaints. This metric only deducts: down to −200 points.
  • Timely responses now also cover questions from the “Ask about the purchase” option, and the threshold rises from 90 to 95 percent.

The chronology matters here, because it shows the terms were being corrected: Allegro published an updated scope of the changes on 20 May 2026, raising the Super level threshold from the proposed 220 to 230 points (Allegro Help), and on 24 June 2026 it moved the start from 27 July to 26 August, giving sellers a month to familiarise themselves with their results in the “New results” tab (Allegro Help).

Note the discrepancy in the sources

Allegro’s help articles are not consistent today: the description of the “My sales quality” tab still presents the 500-point model with Buyer recommendations, while the article on awarding points and the guide to achieving good results already describe the metrics coming in on 26 August. What is decisive is the data on your own account, not any single article: until 25 August the scoring in the current results tab applies, and you will find a preview of the new one in the “New results” tab.

Our recommendation for August: compare both scores on your account and check which metrics were holding your level. Accounts that were compensating for weaker logistics with a high recommendation percentage will lose that buffer after 26 August, because the metric that rewarded ratings will simply be gone. That is a conclusion drawn from how the new model is built, not an announcement by Allegro.

Super Seller: four conditions and what it actually gives you

You do not apply to the programme. Allegro verifies the conditions daily, and a lost title can come back the very next day once the criteria are met again. The conditions have to be met simultaneously (Help for sellers):

  • A business account. A personal account does not qualify regardless of results, so the starting point is registering a business account.
  • The Super level on at least 14 of the last 30 days. The days do not have to be consecutive.
  • A level no lower than Good across the entire 30-day period. A single day at the Neutral level breaks qualification.
  • At least 50 orders in the last 30 days, excluding cancelled ones and those covered by a transaction discount.

Allegro lists three benefits: offers displayed higher in search results, a Super Seller icon next to your offers, and access to training and courses. The platform does not state the size of that advantage, so it cannot honestly be converted into sales, and nobody should be promising that.

A conclusion that follows from the arithmetic rather than from an Allegro announcement: the programme conditions described in the help are not changing, but the definition of the Super level is. From 26 August it is 230 out of 400 points instead of 300 out of 500, that is 57.5 percent of the scale instead of 60. The percentage threshold falls slightly, but it is calculated from a different set of metrics, so an account holding the title today has no guarantee of keeping it after the change. It is worth checking this in the “New results” tab before the end of August.

How to respond to a negative rating

The order of actions matters, because some options expire.

  • Contact first, then ask for a change. You can ask a buyer to change a “Do not recommend” rating within 90 days of purchase (Help for sellers). Solve the problem, then ask, not the other way round.
  • Never offer a benefit in exchange for changing a rating. Trading a rating for a reward breaches the rules and by itself ends in Allegro intervening (Help for sellers).
  • Reply publicly when the request does not work. A reply to a rating has no time limit and is seen by subsequent buyers. A factual sentence about how the matter was resolved works better than an argument.
  • Report a rating only when it breaches the rules. Allegro removes ratings left against the wrong transaction or breaking the comment rules, but it does not remove them because of a misunderstanding or dissatisfaction with the goods.

Two things happen automatically and are worth knowing before you start firefighting: the first negative rating in the last 30 days is excluded from sales quality, and ratings for late delivery are sometimes excluded when the buyer added no comment and Allegro confirms you dispatched on time. After 26 August both rules stop affecting the point score, because the metric based on recommendations disappears. The ratings stay visible publicly, so they still work on the buying decision.

The most common causes of a drop in sales quality

The list below is Allegro’s requirements translated into the situations in which a score falls week after week.

  • Declaring a dispatch time you cannot meet. The Fast dispatch metric gives the most points in the whole panel, but only when offers with “immediately” or “1 day” really do leave the same day. Allegro recommends declaring realistic times and keeping an eye on courier collection hours (Help for sellers).
  • Cancellations due to being out of stock. Cancelled orders do not count towards the 50-order threshold in the Super Seller programme, and a stock shortage usually comes back to you as a dispute and a refund. With a large assortment it is worth considering One Fulfillment by Allegro or stricter stock synchronisation rules.
  • Replies after 24 hours. From August, Timely responses also cover pre-purchase questions from the “Ask about the purchase” option, and the threshold rises to 95 percent.
  • Refunds handled “when there is time”. After the change this metric is worth 100 points, a quarter of the scale. Switching on automatic refunds for returned orders is the cheapest improvement in the whole panel.
  • Escalations to Allegro Buyer Protection. The new metric compares compensations paid out with the number of cases, so closing matters yourself stops being only a question of service style and becomes a line in the scoring.
  • Warnings and offer blocks. The Terms and rules metric only deducts points. Repeated breaches in descriptions or attributes can eat the gains from your good metrics, and the conditions for commission refunds are described in the chapter on fees and commissions.

Most points are lost on shipping

A late parcel, a missing tracking number and a return left open are the most common causes of a drop in sales quality, and all of them start in the warehouse. We set dispatch and returns processes up together with order handling.

Sales quality and offer visibility

Sales quality is one of the factors Allegro takes into account in relevance sorting and when choosing the Top offer (Help for sellers). It sits at account level, not at the level of a single offer, so a drop hits the entire assortment at once.

The consequences rise in steps below the Neutral level. Allegro states outright that with a score below Neutral it may suspend the account, and restrictions can be graduated: from removing some offers daily, through blocking new listings, to a full sales block (Help for sellers). If the level stays below Neutral for 7 days, Allegro hides your offers on all foreign markets, including the Czech and Slovak markets (Help for sellers).

The order that saves money

The Neutral level is the minimum entry point to Allegro’s selling programmes, the Allegro Smart! badge included. That is why the order is always the same: sales quality and the quality of the offer itself first, then delivery, and only at the end Allegro Ads campaigns. Advertising increases traffic, but it will not unlock the Smart! badge or lift restrictions from an account.

How Amazonway helps here

Sales quality rarely breaks for lack of knowledge. It breaks in the weeks when nobody is watching the inbox, the courier changes the collection time and a complaint waits for a decision until day fourteen. That is operational work in a steady rhythm, which is the WP 04 Momentum stage in the WAYPOINT framework: within the marketplace account management service we run buyer communication, dispatch deadlines and complaints, and we treat quality indicators as operational metrics rather than an end-of-quarter report. The scope of the work is shown under Allegro sales management.

An honest caveat: an agency will not change ratings left by buyers and cannot guarantee the badge, because it is decided by a point score verified by Allegro. What we are responsible for are the processes that produce that score.

FAQ: ratings and Super Seller

How many points do you need for the Super level?

Until 25 August 2026 the Super level starts at 300 points out of a maximum of 500. From 26 August 2026 it is 230 points out of a maximum of 400, because Allegro is rebuilding the set of metrics. The Good level is 101 to 299 and 101 to 229 points respectively.

Can I remove a negative rating?

Not on your own. You can ask the buyer to change it within 90 days of purchase, and if the rating breaches the rules or concerns the wrong transaction, report it to Allegro. The platform does not remove ratings that stem from dissatisfaction with the goods or from a misunderstanding. You can also reply publicly to every rating, with no time limit.

Do product reviews affect sales quality?

No. Product reviews concern the product only and are visible on every offer of the same item, including your competitors’. What affects the sales quality indicator are the service metrics: dispatch, responses, refunds and complaints.

How quickly can you lose and regain the Super Seller badge?

Allegro verifies the conditions daily, so the title disappears on the day you stop meeting them and can come back the next day once the criteria are met again. In practice, what most often blocks it is the requirement to hold at least the Good level for a full 30 days.

What happens if sales quality falls below the Neutral level?

You lose access to Allegro’s selling programmes, and Allegro may restrict listing or suspend the account. If the level stays below Neutral for 7 days, your offers are hidden on all foreign markets.
