FBA and FBM logistics: a model matched to the product, not the fashion
Marketplace logistics is the decision that sets your costs, visibility and scaling speed for years. We help choose and implement the right model: FBA with the Prime badge, platform fulfillment (Kaufland and others), an external 3PL operator, or self-shipping. We calculate each variant’s cost for your products instead of assuming "FBA always pays off".

How it works
Why the logistics model decides profitability
FBA brings the Prime badge, better conversion and a Buy Box edge, but logistics and storage fees grow with size and shelf time. For heavy, bulky or slow-moving products, FBM with a good operator can be double-digit percent cheaper per unit. This decision has to be calculated per SKU, not made once for the whole catalogue.
Delivery time is part of the offer: a customer in Germany compares your 5-day FBM shipment with a competitor’s next-day Prime delivery. For high-volume markets we plan local warehousing: FBA, Pan-European FBA or a 3PL operator, always together with the tax consequences, because a foreign warehouse means a VAT obligation in that country.
The third pillar is stock preparation: FNSKU labels, packaging requirements, master cartons and shipment notifications. Mistakes here cost non-compliance fees or rejected deliveries, so we walk clients through their first shipments step by step.

FAQ
Questions about Logistics & fulfillment
FBA or FBM: which should I pick?
It depends on the product. FBA wins for light, fast-rotating products where Prime drives conversion. FBM can be cheaper for oversized goods and slow rotation. We usually recommend a hybrid: bestsellers in FBA, the rest of the catalogue in FBM, decided per SKU by the numbers.
How much does FBA cost?
The fulfilment fee depends on weight and dimensions (from about €3 per unit for small products), plus storage per cubic metre that rises in Q4 and surcharges for long-stored stock. Before implementing we calculate the full cost for your products on real rates.
What is Pan-European FBA and does it pay off?
Amazon distributes your stock across warehouses in several countries, lowering fulfilment fees and shortening delivery. In exchange you must register for VAT in the storage countries. It pays off with stable volume on several markets; we plan the entry together with tax compliance.
How do I handle returns from Germany or France?
In FBA Amazon handles returns. In FBM you need a local return address (a requirement in Germany) or a consolidation service: parcels collected locally return to you in bulk, cutting the cost per return.
Do you ship goods for me?
We do not run our own warehouse: we design and implement the chain, connecting you with proven 3PL operators and platform fulfillment. That way we recommend the model best for you, not the one we earn on.
