Sales platforms
Marketplaces
Marketplaces like Amazon, Allegro and Kaufland are ready-made sales channels with millions of buyers and trust you don’t have to build from scratch. Amazonway runs brand sales on a dozen platforms across Poland and Europe: from account setup, through listings and ads, to logistics and taxes.

Matching
Which platform for your industry
Not every platform fits every product. Below are the matches we see most often in practice; the final recommendation always follows an analysis of your product, margins and competition.
Electronics & accessories
High search volume and strong price competition. You win with listing quality, the Buy Box and reliable logistics.
Home & garden
A highly seasonal category. Kaufland.de offers a fast foothold in Germany with less competition than Amazon.
Furniture & interiors
Home & living platforms attract higher-basket customers and accept longer delivery times.
Handmade & unique products
Etsy gathers customers looking for one-of-a-kind items; brand story and photo quality decide.
Books, media & culture
Empik Marketplace combines online reach with the recognition of a retail chain, which builds buyer trust.
Impulse & budget products
Fast rotation and low unit price. TikTok Shop adds product discovery through video.
Your own online store builds a brand, but you have to bring the traffic yourself. Marketplaces reverse that logic: the customers are already there, searching for products like yours. Entering a platform is the fastest route to new markets, with no local company, warehouse or team required.
Each platform has its own algorithm, requirements and traps. An account can be lost over a seemingly innocent slip, and poorly set logistics or pricing can eat the entire margin. That is why we don’t sell “marketplace presence” — we sell the outcome: a healthy account, growing sales and margin under control.
Marketplaces as your route to international expansion
The shortest path to Western markets doesn’t lead through building a local store, but through the platforms customers already buy on. The typical sequence we guide clients through: Allegro in Poland, Amazon.de and Kaufland in Germany, then France (Cdiscount, Amazon.fr), Benelux (bol.com) and Central and Eastern Europe (eMAG).
Formalities must not block expansion: we take over VAT registrations, OSS/IOSS and EPR, and we localize listings for local algorithms and the customers’ language, not through a translator.

Before you launch: what to prepare
Regardless of the platform, the launch goes smoothly when these elements are ready. Missing one? We complete them together during onboarding.
Company & documents
A registered business, company documents and a bank account. For international sales an EU-registered company is usually enough.
EAN/GTIN codes
Most platforms require product codes. We advise how to obtain them legally and when an exemption is possible.
Product data
Names, attributes, variants and descriptions in a clean structure. They decide your visibility in platform search.
Compliant photos
Each platform has its own guidelines (background, ratios, number of shots). We prepare graphics to spec.
Logistics plan
FBA, platform fulfillment or your own shipping: we match the model to margins, dimensions and rotation speed.
VAT for cross-border sales
OSS thresholds, local VAT registrations and EPR in Germany or France. We set it up before launch, not after the first audit.

FAQ
Marketplace questions
Marketplace or my own online store?
Both, in the right order. Marketplaces give instant access to customers and a fast product test; your own store builds brand and independence. Most of our clients start with the platforms and grow the store in parallel once sales are rolling.
If you also need a store or an eCommerce platform, our technology brand Seedlight builds them.
Which marketplace should I start with?
It depends on your product and target market. In Poland the natural first choice is Allegro; for international expansion usually Amazon (Germany) or Kaufland. For furniture and interiors Wayfair and Home24 are strong; for handicrafts, Etsy.
In a consultation we analyze the product, margins and competition, then recommend the platform order with the fastest return.
Can I sell on multiple marketplaces at once?
Yes, and that is how we usually work. We scale sales in parallel on Amazon, Allegro, eBay, Kaufland and the rest, with a shared pricing strategy, consistent listings and one reporting line. Integrations and automation keep stock and orders in sync.
How much does marketplace management cost?
Pricing is individual, based on scope, number of platforms and needs. We usually work on a retainer plus a success fee on generated sales, so we earn when you do. After a short consultation we prepare a free quote.
How long does it take to enter a marketplace?
We implement the core processes in 2–4 weeks: account registration or audit, listing structures, product feeds and launch campaigns. Timing depends on the number of products, target platforms and the state of your product data.
Do I need a foreign company to sell on international platforms?
In most cases no. A business registered in your home country is enough; we help adapt the account and sales process to each platform’s requirements and handle VAT registrations where needed.
What documents do I need to start selling on a marketplace?
Typically: company registration documents, proof of address, ID of the representative and a business bank account. Amazon and Kaufland verify them thoroughly, so we prepare the full set before registration, which keeps verification as short as possible.
Not sure which platform to start with?
In a free consultation we analyze your product and recommend the platform entry order with the fastest return.
