Why eMAG is an underrated direction

Everyone looks West, while Central and Eastern Europe grows faster. Romanian eCommerce is among the most dynamic in the EU, and eMAG is its gateway: customers start their shopping there, like Poles on Allegro. Western brands are still scarce on the platform, so a well-prepared listing captures its category quickly.

The platform rewards complete product data and reliable operations: the buy button (its Buy Box equivalent), the Genius program (a free-delivery subscription) and Fulfilment by eMAG, which takes over last-mile logistics. Listing content must be in the local languages.

Questions about eMAG

How much does selling on eMAG cost?

eMAG charges a category-dependent sales commission, plus fulfillment costs if used. Our management fee is set after a free analysis: a retainer plus success fee, or a starter package for implementation only.

Do listings have to be translated into Romanian?

Yes, listing content must be in the local language and it decides your visibility. We localize into Romanian, Bulgarian and Hungarian on our side, tuned to the platform’s search engine, not through a translator.

How does Fulfilment by eMAG work?

You ship stock to an eMAG warehouse and the platform takes over storage, delivery and returns on its markets. It is the FBA equivalent and works well for fast-rotating products. We help calculate whether it makes sense at your margins.

Does one account cover Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary?

Yes, one account sells on all three markets. We advise where to start; usually Romania, as the largest and most mature.

What is eMAG Genius?

It is a free-delivery subscription program for customers, the equivalent of Allegro Smart!. Genius-eligible listings convert better; we structure prices and logistics so the program builds sales without losing margin.

How fast will I see results?
